The Competition will take place on October 6\, 2019 (morning and afternoon) in Toronto. The winners of the Competition will perform with the Orchestra at the Prize‐Winners’ Gala Concert on December 7\, 2019. Contestants must have been born on or after July 1\, 1996. All orchestral instruments (strings\, woodwinds\, brass\, percussion\, keyboard and harp) are eligible. There are no residency or citizenship restrictions.\nThe judges are Enrico Elisi\, Concert Pianist and Piano Professor at the University of Toronto\, and Rafael Luz\, Music Director of the North York Concert Orchestra. The Rules of the Competition\, which include full details of the format\, and the Application Form are available at www.nyco.ca/competition.\n\nThe closing date for applications is September 8\, 2019.
