The recital will take place in Edwards Recital Hall and is part of the Piano Series\, sponsored by the Department of Music. \nCoastal Carolina University recently acquired two Steinway Spirio-r pianos\, and the CCU concert will showcase the complexity of Elisi’s s artistry and the extraordinary capabilities of CCU’s new Steinway Spirio-r. \nIn a symbolic move of renewal and reinvestment\, the two new Steinway pianos\, which are housed in the Edwards Recital Hall and Wheelwright Auditorium\, arrived during the yearlong celebration of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts 20th anniversary and replace a Steinway that was purchased when the building opened in 2001. \nUsing cutting-edge technology\, the Spirio-r model not only offers concert-hall quality sound but has recording and live streaming capabilities that allow players in remote areas to listen and learn from recorded performances. \nFor more information about the recital\, please call 843-349-2515.
